Greetings HGH Community –

By now, you have all likely heard that all rinks in Massachusetts are temporarily closed beginning tonight at 5 pm. We, like the girls, are disappointed that this action needed to be taken. However, we agree that better, safer, more consistent policies for hockey need to be determined and implemented, and hopefully that is what will happen over the next two weeks.  As an organization, we plan to spend this time reexamining our own COVID-19 protocols, so that when we return to hockey (on 11/7 as currently declared), we do it in the safest way possible for our girls and our coaches.

We have been consistently blown away by the resilience of the HGH girls. They continue to work hard, do their best, and support their teammates all in the middle of this upside down time. We hope they continue to see hockey as some semblance of normalcy amidst the chaos of the world we’re experiencing.
